Social Worker Needed - Fostering Team- £2000 Assessment Completion Bonus

Hunter Mental Health is currently working alongside an excellent Fostering and Permanence team and assisting in their search for a locum Social Worker.

Key details of the position:

• Job Title - Registered Social Worker (MUST have 4 years post AYSE experience)
• Location - Bromley
• Duration - 3 months on going
• Schedule -  Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
• Start Date - July 2024
• Rate of pay - £36ph (Umbrella)

Job Responsibilities:

Assessment of prospective foster carers and special guardians
Present quality Assessments to the courts or fostering panel as the case may be
Prepare a support plan along-side the main assessment with assistance from the team
To ensure Assessments are delivered within time scale
Maintain professional standards of practice and to work in accordance with the Departmental vision, values, procedures and managerial guidance.
To maintain high standards of professional practice with potential special guardians or foster cares in the course of the assessment. 

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

• Current and valid registration with the SWE
• Proven experience within a Social Working role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Car driver to travel across multiple sites
• Fully on site and hybrid/remote working to be discussed during interview (team can offer up to 3 days remote)
