Position: Social Worker - Safeguarding Children Team

About the Role:
Ackerman Pierce is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Children Team in Bolton. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people within the community. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families in need.
- Develop, implement, and review care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
- Carry out statutory visits to children and young people in accordance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Manage a caseload of complex child protection cases, ensuring all interventions are child-focused and promote their welfare.
- Work closely with multi-agency partners to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
- Prepare reports and present evidence in court when required.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and continuous professional development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work.
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency framework.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
