The Client:

Our client is an independent social service organisation, offering supported accommodation for young people aged 16 and over.

The Role:

As a Social Worker in a Residential Family Assessment Centre, you will conduct residential and community-based parenting assessments.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with children, families, and external agencies.
• Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with families.
• Provide direct intervention, verbal feedback, and written reports.
• Support parents in developing effective parenting skills.

Requirements:

• Previously worked for at least 3 years as a Social Worker or in a similar role.
• Experience with children and families in statutory settings.
• Background in risk assessments and safe practice techniques.
• Possess HCPC certification.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance.
• Strong skills in completing analytical parenting assessments.
