Eden Brown Synergy has exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join an inpatient eating disorder service for children and young people 12-18 years.

The Social Worker would be joining a multidisciplinary team providing care and treatment programmes for children and young people with eating disorders.

The Social Worker will manage a complex caseload, social care assessments, risk assessments, facilitate group activities and contribute to ICR meeting, supporting service users to make viable plans for their future.

Reporting to the Safeguarding Lead the Social Worker will manage internal investigations and liaise with home authorities for service users during admission and discharge process, while enjoying access to the range of training opportunities that supports career growth

Key Responsibilities: (and not limited to)

  • Referrals to LADO and Local Authority in line with safeguarding and assessments
  • Educating Hospital staff about relevant safeguarding matters.
    Completing a full annual social care reassessment within the CPA format.
    Facilitating access to welfare rights, housing, advocacy services and associated support services
  • Participating in 1:1 supervision

To be considered for this role the Social would need:

  • HCP registration
  • Social Work England registration
  • A Social Work degree
  • Experience within similar environment (eating disorder inpatient services for children and young people)
