Are you an experienced social worker with at least 12 months of experience in the UK? Vale of Glamorgan Council is looking for dedicated individuals to join our Children Looked After Team and make a real difference in the lives of children and young people.

Position: Social Worker for Children Looked After Team
Location: Vale of Glamorgan, UK
Rate: £38.15 per hour

About the Role: As a Social Worker in our Children Looked After Team, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care for children who are in the care of the local authority. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing care plans, and advocating for the best interests of children looked after by the council.

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 months of recent experience as a social worker in the UK
• Registration with Social Care Wales (SCW)
• Up-to-date DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
