An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced social worker to join a dedicated team in the Highlands. This role offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable children and families, using your skills to provide vital support and protection.

We are seeking a motivated professional with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children in need. This position offers a minimum 3-month contract with a competitive hourly rate, ideal for those looking to make a difference in a dynamic setting.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and reviews to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people.
• Developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to each child's needs.
• Offering support and guidance to children, families, and carers.
• Collaborating with multi-agency teams to deliver well-rounded interventions.
• Maintaining thorough, accurate, and up-to-date case records.

Requirements:

• Current membership in the PVG scheme
• Degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
• Experience working with children and families in a safeguarding context
