Full TimeSoftware Asset ManagerHybrid Paying up to £67,000What You’ll Be DoingYou will be responsible for the effective delivery of IT Software Asset and License Management across IT, using an ITIL framework. You will be a senior lead in defining, implementing, maintaining and continuously improving the IT Asset (ITAM) services, ensuring efficient creation, maintenance and management of the Asset and Configuration Management Data Base (AMDB & CMDB) and CMS tools including:Manage software entitlement ensuring all inventories and changes are managed robustly and in compliance with licencing terms and policies.Definition, Creation and Implementation of effective processes and controls for Asset and License Management.Ensure the AMDB and CMDB is definitive, up-to-date, accurate and the correct source for all IT Infrastructure hardware and applications.Embed a formal software asset management framework for all relevant software including driving of compliance across the estate. Ensure SAM is represented and recognised across all relevant IT teams. Auditing and verifying the integrity of the CMDB, to identify issues with, and improve processes associated to the update of system records.Monitors and reports on the Asset and License Management processesIdentification of ownership and accountability for management for all Software Asset CI’s within the AMDB and CMDB. Professional qualifications or essential experience required:ITIL foundation v3/4 plus other relevant ITIL intermediate level qualifications.Significant experience in an IT Service environment, ideally with experience in a financial organization.Proven experience of establishing and improving IT Asset and Configuration Management Processes.Operational experience of the ServiceNow toolset, CMDB schema ideally using the CSDM model with best-practiceKnowledge of ServiceNow discovery and Service mapping with the application of best practices.
