Software Asset Manager

Nonstop are currently recruiting for a Software Asset Manager (SAM) within the Public Sector in a Central Government Department. Joining the IT Asset and Configuration Management team as the Software Asset Manager, you will to be responsible for building and the ongoing management and maintenance of all software being utilized across the estate, as well as the planning for future software changes, improvements, and efficiencies across the business

Hybrid Role - South Scotland - Long Term Contract

Essential Skills

Knowledge / understanding of IT Asset Management

Solid understanding of software licensing and deployment model

Experience managing software procurement

Experience implementing and maintaining SAM policies and procedures

Desirable Skills

Experience or certification in ITIL (v4), specifically regarding the use of a CMDB.

Experience with budgets & financial reporting

Experience with Atlassian, Insight/Assets, ServiceNow, etc.

An Active Clearance is required for this role.
