Software Developer – 3-month contract – Fully Remote

My customer is on the lookout to transition from a single-use, monolithic architecture to a scalable, microservices-driven infrastructure powered by AWS. Their mission is to revolutionize their digital capabilities and create solutions that grow with them.

The Software Developer should have experience refactoring monolithic applications in order to migrate to microservices and hence AWS.

The Software Developer would have strong experience with front end technologies such as React, Angular and TypeScript.

The Software Developer would work fully remote with potential ad hoc travel to sites in London/Manchester.

Key responsibilities/skills of the Software Developer:

• Refactoring monolithic applications to migrate to microservices architecture
• Lead the migration of monolithic applications to microservices architecture, enabling seamless scalability.
• Redesign and modernize front-end applications using cutting-edge technologies like React, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Leverage your Node.js expertise to enhance backend functionality.
• Work with relational databases such as SQL and PostgreSQL to maintain robust data integrity and performance.
• Implement cloud-native solutions and ensure smooth deployment to AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize scalable software solutions.
