My client is looking to hire a skilled Software Engineer in Test to join their innovative team focused on creating and enhancing our APS Smart Intake applications. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to combine your software development expertise with test automation skills to drive high-quality software solutions.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Apply your development and testing skills to design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions that meet user needs and exceed expectations.
  • Actively participate in the full development lifecycle by writing and maintaining application features and automated tests, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Use your expertise in testing to influence better software design, drive bug prevention strategies, and promote best practices in engineering, security, and testability.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance test coverage, improve release velocity, and maintain production health.
  • Efficiently manage tasks to align with project schedules and meet deadlines.
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve technical and functional issues, independently or in collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Follow Agile methodologies and test-driven development (TDD) to ensure quality and efficiency in architecture, design, coding, and testing processes.
Skills:
  • Development experience in testing both server and UI components.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Puppeteer.
  • Strong skills in Node.js development and familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins and uDeploy.
  • Working knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and Angular.
  • A proactive attitude toward problem-solving, with excellent analytical and debugging skills.
  • A self-directed, motivated, and enthusiastic approach to learning new technologies as needed.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, is a plus.
  • Basic familiarity with Java is preferred.
