Software Engineer

Overview: Tiro Partners are seeking Software Engineers (Contract & Permanent) to further bolster our clients expanding team. On this project you’ll help prototype future cockpit and avionics designs, developing the Project X Active Cockpit simulator.Candidates must be eligible for full unrestricted UK security clearance (sole UK nationals only).Responsibilities:Develop software for the Project X Active Cockpit simulatorOwn requirements, design, implementation, and testingIntegrate COTS hardware/software and design technical solutionsProduce technical documentation and manage technical riskSupport customers and resolve system issuesMentor team members and refine development processesDevelop system architectures to meet IT/security requirementsEssential Skills:Strong C++ programming in Visual StudioKnowledge and experience of UNIX / Linux / WindowsDesirable Skills:Knowledge of avionics, and mission systemsInterest in military aircraft
