As an OS Frameworks Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside world-class experts at the forefront of hardware, software, and content integration.🌠 Responsibilities:Stay up-to-date with industry and technology trends to evaluate and develop new technologies within the roadmap.Lead and set the direction for the development of capabilities to deliver exceptional user experiences across current and future products.Collaborate with organisational leaders to enhance team performance and overall organisation effectiveness.Drive the development of tools, system architecture, prototypes, frameworks, and infrastructure that impact VR and AR product lines.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and application software engineers, to understand requirements and enhance existing frameworks.Develop APIs in the system-level framework layer to enable the implementation of compelling and high-performing use cases.Promote coding and design best practises within the team and ensure clean, readable, debuggable, and testable code.Effectively communicate complex features and systems while advocating for higher product quality and engineering efficiency.πŸ“œ Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive solutions.Proven ability to mentor and influence senior engineers across organisations.Software development experience.Extensive knowledge of Android (preferred), Linux, or MacOS internals or frameworks.Experience in developing solutions within resource-constrained environments.Strong coding skills in both C++ and Java.πŸš€ Preferred Qualifications:Extensive experience with Android internals, AOSP, Android SDK, Android NDK, Android JNI, Android IPC mechanisms, or Linux OS development.Familiarity with Android performance tools and security models.Experience developing software for mobile platforms (Android/iOS).Proficiency in Android UI frameworks and services.βœ‰οΈ Apply now to join our client's dynamic organisation and be a part of the forefront of technological innovation!Adecco is a disability-confident employer.
