Software Engineer

RC Fornax are looking for a Real Time Embedded Software Engineer for our defence customer based in Luton. This is inside IR35 , hybrid opportunity (3 days on site per week) , pay rate is negotiable DOE. Essential skillset :Able to demonstrate experience in all areas of the software lifecycle from requirements definition through to integration and delivery.Familiar with debugging software on target hardware in a lab environmentStrong knowledge of the software engineering lifecycle including awareness of the latest continuous integration and continuous delivery techniques.Troubleshooting (Able to problem solve with minimum supervision and Bug fix + Prototype changes)Developing and updating Modern C++ software in a real-time embedded environment on target hardware.Ability to work in high pressure environment with tight deadlinesAbility to work requirements and create development plansPrevious defence / EW knowledge would be an advantage. Due to the nature of the project , the successful candidate must hold Active SC clearance and be sole British national.
