Edinburgh
are looking for a couple of experienced
Software Engineers , ideally with good experience using
Java and ReactJS
to join their
hybrid
squad - really modern tech, great culture and amazing benefits.
They've been operating very successfully for several years now and they offer an

- this is a great opportunity to work on a series of products that benefits so many throughout the UK.
You'd be initially joining a small Agile squad of roughly four Software Engineers, but the organisation has really
ambitious plans
, as they're looking to really grow this team over the next year or so, it's
genuinely a really exciting to join
, with lots happening.
The work with a really modern tech stack;
Java17, SpringBoot, Microservices, AWS, ReactJS + TypeScript
and although experience with all of this is great, the organisation are much more interested in
collaborative Engineers
that can bring strong soft skills to the team, so have some flexibility around tech.
Additionally, they place a really big importance on following
best practices
and
software fundamentals
and are looking for Engineers that have worked in a similar style of environment before. Equally they're very big on
testing
, where you'd be regularly involved in
Automation testing
and
TDD
- so are looking for Engineers with this mindset / experience.
You'll ideally have experience with most of the following;
** Java (ideally SpringBoot)
** Microservices
** HTML, CSS and JavaScript (ideally ReactJS + TypeScript)
** Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GPS, OpenShift)
Experience with the following is highly desirable;
** DevOps; Docker and Kubernetes
** Project Leadership
This opportunity would be ideal for an
ambitious Software Engineer
that is looking for a collaborative environment where they could get really involved in
projects end to end,

Their offices are based just on the outskirts of
Edinburgh
, just walking distance from a tram stop, train station and they have free parking available onsite. They do support
hybrid working
here, where you'll be expected onsite
three days per week
, for collaboration time with the team.
In return they're able to offer a
salary from £45k to £75k
based on experience with a
strong benefits
package to match, which includes (35 hour working week, Private healthcare, 15% pension, Annual bonus, 28 days holiday + bank and much more).
