\nLocation: Wokingham, hybrid. 3 days on site, 2 from home.

\nAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will provide customer support services on digital solutions. In this role, you'll enhance software products, troubleshoot issues, and maintain the deployment pipeline with a focus on quality and automation. You'll act as a technical expert, offering guidance to customers on digital solutions.
\n\nRoles and Responsibilities
\nCollaborate with customers to gather information, investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex issues.
\nSupport incoming tickets across various product modules, troubleshooting issues across configurations, user interface, network, connectivity, and performance.
\nDevelop fixes and enhancements in collaboration with other teams.
\nReview and understand complex application code, suggesting fixes to resolve issues.
\nOversee deployment activities, orchestrating the deployment process across environments until production.
\nProvide 24/7 emergency support when required.
\nFacilitate relationships between customers and third-party vendors.
\nTravel to customer sites within the region at least three times per week.
\nRequired Qualifications
\nExperience: Software engineering experience in real-time systems like SCADA and Energy Management Systems (EMS).
\nSecurity Clearance: Eligible for UK SC Clearance or already cleared.
\nTechnical Skills: Strong knowledge of C/C++, Java, SQL, Shell scripting, Kubernetes, and proficiency in reading/debugging logs.
\nArchitecture: Expertise in microservices and tools.
\nOperating Systems: Red Hat and Oracle experience.
\nTroubleshooting: Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
\nDevOps Tools: Experience with Jenkins, GITHUB, Clear Case, SVN.
