We are looking for a creative and talented Software Developer to join our small development team based in our Taunton office. You will work on anything from UI to core functionality, fixing bugs to integrating new technologies.
This position would suit someone looking to progress into their next role having gained some sector experience. As a software developer at IEP, you'll contribute to two key areas. Initially your time will be dedicated to the development and implementation of new features and maintaining the Companys bespoke public protection software application. As your knowledge and experience grow, you will have the opportunity to work on unique projects that tackle real-world problems and make a difference

Skills for this role
Solid demonstrable experience of software development.
Must be able to competently code in C# and in ANY of the following: Blazor/Java/Python/JavaScript and have a keen willingness to learn new languages
Experience with MySQL, Dapper, Entity Framework, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, SQL Server is highly beneficial.
Familiarity in Docker would be of benefit.
Experience of cloud-based data management tools e.g. Azure, AWS is desirable.
Disciplined and methodical approach to configuration control.
Natural ability to quickly pick up and learn new technologies.
A drive to own and shape your career development journey.
Confident working on problems from scratch - resourceful in turning problems into simple solutions, and proactive in working with stakeholders to resolve ambiguity.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
