Software System Engineer - GPU / Linux / C/C++ / GPU Linux Kernel Driver / Cuda / NVlink / LLM / Data Structures / Algorithms Are you an experienced System Engineer with solid GPU experience?Do you want to join a globally recognised company with a focus on research and engineering development in fields such as operating system, various virtualization technologies (Cloud Native, SDN, NFV), performance optimization of system software and libraries?If so, please keep reading.We're partnered with a leading tech company (the people behind a globally known social media platform) and they require a number of people to join them on a hybrid model in London.As a Software System Engineer you will be responsible for optimising system level infrastructure, including operating system and its components, infrastructure performance, and will combine software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems (amongst other tasks)This is a full time, permanent role, working on a hybrid model in LondonInternational applicants are encouraged and visas and relocation can be arranged.What we look for is:Familiarity with the operating system and its componentsBe familiar with C or C++, and solid experience in at least one of other languages such as Python / Golang / rust / cudaSolid knowledge of GPU Linux kernel driver/ NVlink /Cuda low level knowledgeFamiliar with common data structure and algorithm, multithreading programming and multithreading program performance optimization;Any of the following would be considered a plus:LLM knowledgeExperience in network, storage, memory management, process scheduling, or server hardware architectureWhat's in it for you?Excellent base salary, plus bonus and RSU's.
