You will lead a team a team of developers, and have responsibility for the delivery of the product roadmap to a high quality. Our procurement consultancy service, along with in-house cloud-based software, allows scientists to focus on discovering life changing cures, while we manage their laboratory purchasing and supply chain needs. Customers come to Amici to source products for their laboratory. Our MyAmici platform allows scientists to purchase lab consumables, chemicals, biologicals and capital equipment. About the Role As Amici continues to grow, we're seeking a talented Lead Software Engineer with a breadth of expertise in software development to join our team and contribute to our exciting projects. You will lead a team of developers, responsible for the delivery of the product roadmap to a high quality. This is a hands-on role and you will be designing, implementing, and maintaining robust applications while also managing the team. Your technical ability, problem-solving skills, and innovative mindset will drive the success of our MyAmici platform and contribute to the growth of Amici. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will influence the team's development practice to ensure high-quality code and that delivery deadlines are met. What are we looking for? We are very passionate about technology and providing a platform to our customers, so they can focus on the science. We re looking for an experienced manager who still wants to get involved in the end-to-end coding process, delivering high-quality code using Agile and Test Driven Development. You should have experience in supporting with specifications of new features, actively participating in sprint planning, and creating documentation whilst also reviewing your team's documentation. You ll have strong mentoring skills, to support team members and the wider Innovation team.
