Software Test Analyst

Role: Test AnalystWorking Location: SwanseaWorking arrangement: 2 days per week in the Swansea office + 3 days from homeWe're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Test Analyst to join our dynamic, cross-functional team. As a key contributor to our software quality, you'll be responsible for ensuring the excellence of our products through meticulous testing across various platforms. Thriving in a fast-paced agile environment, you'll leverage software testing best practices, maintain a comprehensive test script library, and execute thorough test plans on multiple browsers and devices. While test automation experience isn't required, a strong desire to learn and grow in this area is a significant plus.Responsibilities of the Tester roleDesign, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, covering functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.Conduct rigorous testing across various browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and devices (mobile, tablet, desktop) to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.Actively participate in quality assurance initiatives, adhering to ISO27001 guidelines and industry standards.Stay abreast of emerging testing methodologies, tools, and technologies to continuously improve testing practices.Experience needed for the Tester roleDemonstrated experience as a Test Analyst or similar role, showcasing a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.Proficiency in creating test plans, and test cases, and executing manual tests on a software platform.Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced agile environment and adapt to changing priorities.Enthusiasm for learning new skills, particularly in the area of test automation.What can we offer the Test AnalystExcellent automation test trainingOpportunities to be involved in project planningThe chance to move into different areas of technology in the futurePackageUp to £35,000 per annum5 days of unpaid leave can be takenContributory Pension SchemeLife Assurance (x4)Cycle to work schemeEmployee Wellbeing programmePersonal developmentThis role will require the Test Analyst to be onsite in Swansea 2 days per week.We will be reviewing applications and interviewing candidates on an ongoing basis and encourage you to submit your application early.
