To work with my client, an East Midlands based software solutions business who have been providing services into the food sector for over 30 years now.

As a Software Testing and Support analyst you will enable the release of integrated software, firmware and hardware (where appropriate), thorough product / software testing and helping to assure the development team's work meets the objectives of the project through Automated and Manual UAT.

As part of the teams duties you will act as a backup to the inhouse support function by monitoring performance and providing

ACCOUNTABILITY

Product Testing

  • Perform final product testing for software development cycle (system, integration and
  • regression), to ensure specifications have been met and to allow for approval of releases.
  • Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Test across different environments.
  • Carry out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing and scalability testing as
  • Design and run manual scripts.
  • Design and develop automation scripts where appropriate.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues following Agile principles and working to meet project

Support

  • Produce and maintain detailed training materials and user guides.
  • Provide technical support for operating units (UK, AU, UAE.)
  • Evaluation of log files and debug outputs for RCA
  • Act as a backup for in house IT support
  • Support the management and maintenance of the operating units' servers, including failover,

backup and resilience.

  • Monitor automated performance and alert platforms
  • Securely access specific tools and utility programs as a systems administrator, bearing in mind the principles of ISO 27001 and 27017.

This role is based in the East Midlands and is a site based role, therefor only candidates within commutable distance of Leicester will be considered. This role would best suit a software test analyst with experience of providing a level of technical support.
