Reference LA85 Job Type Full time We are seeking an ambitious Solicitor / Fee Earner with 1-3 years' post qualification experience and excellent communication skills to join the Real Estate Residential team in JMW s London office. Based in the City of London, the successful candidate will get the opportunity to assist in the development of the department and will be encouraged to grow their own network of work introducers. The role will entail the following and experience in these areas is required: Full understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules. The ability to deal with non-contentious domestic conveyancing matters from inception to completion. A good knowledge of general conveyancing and related topics. Full knowledge of land registry practices. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES . Reviewing title documentation, contract documentation, mortgage offers and search results and providing accurate and comprehensive reports to clients. Raising enquiries in a timely manner. Responding to enquiries in a timely manner. Resolving complex and technical queries. Producing accurate financial statements for clients. Dealing with exchange of contracts and completions. Checking clients source of funds, KYC and other compliance metrics. Responding promptly to requests for updates from clients, estate agents, brokers and introducers. Updating introducer portals where necessary Ensuring that the case management is fully up to date. Recognising potential risks and resolving issues without putting clients or the firm at risk. Taking primary responsibility for purchase files.
