This niche award-winning business within the Banking/Payments space is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to take a key role in defining and delivering software and solutions architectures that supports the development of their Java & API platform. /p p This is a varied role where you'll have capability to work closely with the business, product and development to ensure everyone is on the same page working towards architecting successful solutions. /p p Responsibilities of a Solution Architect – Financial Services include: /p ul li Architectural designs encompassing the target solutions architecture /li li Architecture delivered against requirements for security, scalability, performance and availability /li li Driving quality through adoption of standards and best practice /li li Building close working relationships with engineering & the wider technology group /li li Leading architecture & design reviews throughout the whole Development lifecycle /li li Supporting product management, defining and refining solutions architecture to support new product capabilities /li /ul p Skills and experience of a Solution Architect - Financial Services: /p ul li Ability to design & implement end-to-end application and technical architectures for highly concurrent, real-time transactional systems /li li Experienced in conceptual, application, integration, logical and physical modelling /li li Experience of analysing and implementing solutions to meet both functional and non-functional requirements /li li Experience of producing low-level software architectures /li li Deep Java, API & Microservices background /li li Experience across modern architectural / delivery standards and methods including Agile, TDD, BDD, CI/CD automation, DevOps practices /li li Ability to build and develop relationships across all levels of the business /li li Experience and appreciation for the Payments Industry is preferred but not essential /li /ul p In return you will be rewarded with between £90,000 - £105,000, an excellent working environment and benefits which includes a generous Bonus. /p p If you think you could be a good fit for this role and you have the relevant skills needed to become a successful Solution Architect - Financial Services send your CV across ASAP! /p
