Solution Engineer

Requirements:

• Must have a proven track record in the Materials Handling/Intralogistics industry.


• Proficiency in end-to-end solution and application design.


• Strong skills in AutoCAD (3D modelling is a plus but not essential).


• Electrical/controls knowledge is preferred but not required.


• A proactive and positive attitude with a detail-oriented mindset.


• Strong ability to work both independently and within a team.


• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with our client's sales team and customers to define project requirements and ensure smooth project flow.


• Conduct site visits and customer meetings to assess project needs and evaluate system requirements.


• Provide crucial support to the sales process by creating and presenting system solutions.


• Take ownership of the design process from the concept phase, ensuring the delivery of functional and efficient systems that meet client specifications.


• Analyse customer data to optimise project designs and conveyor flows.


• Stay informed of the latest products from suppliers, sourcing new technologies to enhance system performance.


• Customise designs to modify standard equipment, offering tailored in-house solutions.


• Manage projects from the pre-sales stage through to completion, continuously bringing innovative ideas to the table.


• Engage in product development, incorporating new solutions into the existing portfolio to meet evolving market demands.


• Validate the functionality and suitability of system designs, ensuring that all KPIs and performance goals are met.


• Provide simulation/emulation to confirm design accuracy.
