Solutions Architect

Job Description Role: Solution Architect (retail PLM experience) Stott and May have partnered with one of the largest retail organisations in the UK, to source a senior Solution Architect that brings a wealth of experience with designing and integrating Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes / roadmaps. CONTRACT / FREELANCE INSIDE IR35 HYBRID (2 days per week, central London) 6 months (extensions likely) We are looking for a solution architect for a retail customer who is looking to implement a roadmap of solutions leveraging PLM and bespoke solutions in the product design, development, sourcing and sustainability areas. Responsibilities: - Understanding the needs / requirements and translate into solutions including fitment into PLM, ERP, Planning and Custom applications. - Establish any gaps and provide alternate solutions, prepare the case for recommendation and present to Architecture Review Board. - Establish weekly connect with Principle Architect, provide viewpoints / best practices and work under his / her steer. Requirements: - Retail Background, very good understanding of retail tools - Product Lifecycle Management Experience (ideally using FlexPLM) - Experience in understanding integrations need between PLM & ERP solutions - Experience of architecting / designing Microservices / Rest API's - Experience of Senior Stakeholder management and influencing, up to and including C-suite level.
