Nonstop are currently recruiting for a Sourcing Manager within the Government Sector.

As a Sourcing Manager you will be responsible for the Procurement competition management, adhering to stakeholders policies. Promoting best practice at all times, assisting in management of project staff, third party legal and insurance advisors. Be involved in Stakeholder management and Tender Negotiation phase planning and delivery. Management of contract documentation delivery and assistance with bid evaluation and governance input. Provide input to relevant PMO and Procurement reporting.

Essential Skills :

\n

\n
• Deep level of Sourcing experience in corporate and professional services categories
\n
• Demonstrable track record of savings delivery
\n
• Deep understanding of UCR 2016 and/or PCR 2015
\n
• Demonstrable stakeholder management expertise
\n
• Demonstrable level of negotiation and dispute resolution skill set
\n
• Demonstrable experience of contract law and financial management
\n
• Demonstrable experience of driving value from complex sourcing opportunities
\n
• Experienced with agile cross-functional collaborative working methods
\n
• Politically savvy, with the proven ability to use direct and indirect influencing strategies at an executive level
\n
• Demonstrable level of problem-solving experience of complex sourcing specific challenges
\n
• Completer finisher mindset
\n

Desirable Skills

\n

\n
• Educated to a Business or Economics degree standard or equivalent business experience
\n
• MCIPS qualified
\n
• Detailed knowledge of the UK rail industry, including procurement processes in a reclassified environment
\n
