Sourcing Specialist - Corporate & Labs

Our Public Sector Client is looking to appoint a Sourcing Specialist, who will work within the Corporate and Lab Category.

The Sourcing Specialist will work closely with colleagues in the Corporate and Lab Team and the Head of Sourcing and manage the operational delivery and contract management of their portfolio in the category.

Responsibilities

• Undertake end-to-end tendering
• Be the point of contact for members for the use of Framework Agreements
• Undertake strategy development and market analysis
• Contract Management of suppliers
• Embed responsible procurement activity into the end-to-end tendering process
• Manage or participate in other projects as required

Knowledge and experience:

• Experience working in Public Sector Procurement
• Have strong knowledge of UK and Scottish procurement legislation
• Experience in contract drafting and negotiation
• Experienced in the tendering and management of commodities
• Demonstrate sound commercial knowledge
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Knowledge of the ethical/social and environmental impacts

This roles can be based in Glasgow or Stirling. 9 Day fortnight, hybrid working and flexible working and support with CIPS studies
