Sous chef needed for very busy Café

normal workings hours will be daytime
You will however work weekends on a rota basis
Usual working hours 8.30am to 6pm
This is an excellent opportunity for a Sous chef who is looking for sociable hours. They are seeking chef to work within a busy food and beverage outlet and would thrive in a café environment.
This cafe restaurant serves an array of fresh meals and snacks form early morning until early evening. A very busy and popular destination for tourists and locals alike, they will often service over 250+ covers a day.
As Sous chef you are expected to be well presented, friendly, enthusiastic and willing to give 100% and be a very hands on
As Sous chef you will produce all fresh food in house including baking cakes and scones etc... and create all menus and specials on a daily basis
As Sous chef duties will also include running the kitchen in the head chefs absence, running all sections, stock control and ordering
For this role the ideal chef will have kitchen experience within a very fast paced restaurant/café environment.
Your shifts will be working 5 in 7 days, working most weekends but mainly working no evenings as normal shifts will be daytime! Usual working hours 08.30am to 6pm
This chef role is a full time, permanent role
