Salary £30,000.00 plus Earn up to £3000 in service charges per annum.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations
Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to quality and safety standards
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious menu items
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high-quality standards
Help develop and implement new recipes and menu items
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Assist in scheduling staff and managing labor costs
Support the Head Chef in administrative tasks such as budgeting and menu planning
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team
Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, flavors, and presentation
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred
