Salary: £45k + overtime
Working hours: Tuesday to Saturday (club closed on Sundays and Mondays)
Start date: Immediate start
I'm currently looking to recruit a Sous Chef on behalf of my client, a prestigious private club in London renowned for its exquisite international fine dining concept. The club offers a unique culinary experience and caters to high-profile clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure high-quality food preparation
- Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and refine the menu
- Lead and train the kitchen team to maintain consistency and excellence
- Ensure all food is prepared in line with health and safety standards
- Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in high-end or fine dining establishments
- Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Excellent knowledge of modern culinary techniques and international cuisines
- Ability to work under pressure and remain composed in a busy kitchen
