Sous Chef Job Description We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As the right hand to our Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the high standards of our kitchen, ensuring every dish that leaves our pass is a testament to our commitment to quality and authenticity.
Sous Chef Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
Maintain consistency in food quality, flavour profiles, and presentation, staying true to our classic New York Italian culinary style.
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain kitchen efficiency.
Uphold strict hygiene and cleanliness standards, ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed.
Contribute to menu development, bringing fresh ideas while respecting our classic roots.
Lead by example, mentoring junior kitchen staff and cultivating a team-oriented atmosphere.

Sous Chef Qualifications: Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-quality restaurant environment.
Strong understanding of Italian cuisine, particularly the classic New York Italian style.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Passion for delivering exceptional food and dining experiences.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
