Job Title: Sous Chef - £34,000
Location: Stunning Restaurant & Bar, Flintshire
KSB Recruitment is looking for a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join a fantastic kitchen team at a vibrant and popular venue located in the heart of Flintshire. Set in a beautiful location, this restaurant and bar offer a mix of classic and contemporary dishes, focusing on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. This is a great opportunity to work in an inspiring environment and contribute to a dynamic kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the Head Chef in the daily kitchen operations
Managing and training kitchen staff, ensuring high standards are maintained
Creating and delivering high-quality dishes, with attention to detail on presentation and taste
Ensuring compliance with food hygiene, health, and safety standards
Assisting in menu development and working with fresh, seasonal ingredients
Overseeing inventory management and supplier orders
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar fast-paced, fresh food environment
Strong leadership and team management skills
Passion for delivering high-quality dishes and using local ingredients
Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices
Ability to work well under pressure and in a busy kitchen setting
