This well-established & successful Pub Restaurant with Rooms is now looking for a new Sous Chef due to a promotion within the brigade, this property is featured in many guides such as Michelin and AA Guides, also has multiple award accolades for its food offering using local suppliers and produce.
As Sous Chef you will:
Collaborate on dishes and Menus
Oversee & manage the team
Be a mentor to develop & train junior chefs.
Maintain a clean and organised Kitchen
Assist in ordering and stocktake
To be successful as Sous Chef you will need to have:
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume setting
Be able to communicate and be organised
The package for the right Sous Chef:
Salary of £34k
Tips & service of 5-6k per year on average
Working 4.5 days per week averaging 50hrs with breaks
Every Christmas and Boxing Day off
