Private Chef - Sous Chef
Our UHNW client, with a residence near Ascot, is looking for a Live-in - Private Chef (Sous Chef) to prepare high-end fine dining meals for up to 8 family members, in addition to any guests and banqueting events.
Location: Ascot, UK
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Start Date: asap - latest by November
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm (when family is in London, 7 months per year; time off given in lieu for remaining months)
Accommodation: Free accommodation provided near the estate (private en suite)
Salary: £50-55k annual, discretionary bonuses, and salary increase per year of service

About the Role: The family spends approximately 7 months of the year in London, during which time the Private Chef will be required Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm. The remainder of the year is spent offsite, allowing you ample time off, given in lieu. You will be working within a team of 4 chefs and a KP, with fully-equipped commercial kitchen on the largest private estate in the UK, catering to the familys fine dining requirements as well as occasional events for up to 250 guests.
Your role will include preparing a range of cuisines, including French, Italian, and Japanese (sushi), for everyday meals as well as special occasions.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Private Chef or Sous Chef in a high-end culinary environment (Michelin or fine dining experience preferred)

Expertise in French, Italian & Mediterranean, Japanese (sushi) cuisine

Strong organizational and team leadership skills

Candidates should be at ease in a family and kitchen environment when needed

Solid background in Private Households or Fine dining & Michelin star restaurants

Understanding about managing a small team of chefs, orderings, H&S, organization, and suppliers.

Be able to relocate and be flexible when needed
