About the Role:

As a Spanish & French Teacher/Instructor, you will be instrumental in shaping students' linguistic abilities and cultural understanding. Your role involves teaching both languages with enthusiasm and precision, creating an engaging and dynamic learning environment.

Spanish & French Teacher/Instructor Responsibilities:

• Teach Spanish and French to secondary students, tailoring lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum, integrating cultural elements to enhance learning.
• Equip students with practical communication skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing in both languages.
• Monitor student progress, deliver constructive feedback and identify areas for improvement.
• Foster a love for languages and cultural awareness, preparing students for global opportunities.
• Work closely with the modern languages department to ensure a cohesive and successful curriculum delivery.

Spanish & French Teacher/Instructor Job Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) with specialisation in languages or equivalent.
• Fluency in both Spanish and French, with the ability to teach them confidently at various levels.
• Prior teaching experience in secondary education or further education is advantageous.
• Strong communication, classroom management and the ability to inspire a passion for languages.
• A commitment to excellence in teaching and nurturing students’ potential.
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
