Job Overview



This organisation is a large, multi-disciplinary Specialist Advisory Teacher team, comprising over 60 staff members across four teams. The structure includes four Deputy Heads, four Senior Teachers, and a Head of Service, supported by approximately 30 Advisory Specialist Teachers, six HTLAs, and five technicians.



They are seeking a highly self-motivated individual to support the organisation in developing and expanding the service. The focus is shifting from supporting children and young people with EHCPs to adopting a more flexible early intervention model.



The ideal candidate will have expertise and experience in working with children who have Autism/Social Communication needs and related co-occurring conditions. Our client are looking for an experienced teacher who has taught across different education phases and supported students with various additional learning needs. Advisory Teachers should be well-versed in best practice strategies to improve the inclusion of learners with SEND and be able to advise and model these strategies to school staff.



If you have been a SENCO, Specialist Teacher, or SEND Teacher with experience in delivering training and interventions, or have similar experience, this may be the opportunity for you.
