Hours: 37 hours per week (Mon to Fri)
Reports To: Cleaning Supervisor / Facilities Manager
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Specialist Cleaning Operative to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across commercial spaces. This role involves specialized cleaning tasks to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform deep cleaning and maintenance in offices, restrooms, and other commercial spaces.
• Carry out floor care tasks, including stripping, waxing, and buffing.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and high-touch surfaces.
• Remove waste and ensure proper disposal of recycling.
• Follow health & safety protocols and report any hazards or maintenance issues.
• Monitor and report cleaning supply levels.

Qualifications:

• Experience in specialist cleaning in commercial settings.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and physical stamina.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with advanced cleaning equipment.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning certifications (e.g., COSHH).

• Ability to handle physical tasks and cleaning equipment.
