An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Clinical Oncology Pharmacist to join a prestigious private hospital in Guildford, Surrey. As a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team of oncology professionals and lead by example in training and developing more junior members of the team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the oncology pharmacy department while enjoying ample opportunities for professional growth, development, and progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a dedicated team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
• Provide expert pharmaceutical care in the area of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT).
• Support the development of more junior team members, helping them progress to senior levels.
• Collaborate closely with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.
• Ensure the safe and effective use of chemotherapy and other oncology medications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in oncology pharmacy and therapeutics.

Experience and Qualifications:

• A Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm, BPharm, or BSc in Pharmacy).
• Demonstrable experience in SACT / Oncology pharmacy.
• Must hold a valid BOPA Passport.
• Previous experience within a hospital setting (NHS or Private) is highly desirable.
• A strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
