Position: Specialist Oncology Pharmacist - SACT BOPA

As a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team of oncology professionals and lead by example in training and developing more junior members of the team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the oncology pharmacy department while enjoying ample opportunities for professional growth, development, and progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a dedicated team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
- Provide expert pharmaceutical care in the area of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT).
- Support the development of more junior team members, helping them progress to senior levels.
- Collaborate closely with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Ensure the safe and effective use of chemotherapy and other oncology medications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in oncology pharmacy and therapeutics.
Experience and Qualifications:
- A Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm, BPharm, or BSc in Pharmacy).
- Demonstrable experience in SACT / Oncology pharmacy.
- Must hold a valid BOPA Passport.
- Previous experience within a hospital setting (NHS or Private) is highly desirable.
- A strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
