Position : Specialist South Asian Chef De Partie
Employer : Luxury Indian restaurant
Location: Bath, England
Gross OTE salary package : circa £34,000 (incl.share of serv. chge + targeted bonus)
Weekly working hours / days 48 hours / 5 days
Benefits & Entitlements: 28 days paid holiday (pro rata) incentives, employers workplace pension, employee care and wellbeing support + more
Your role involves skillful preparation of complex South Asian dishes and specialty breads specific to the regional theme of the establishment and its menus. You will be responsible for a series of kitchen operational duties commensurate with job role, including training and supervising Commi Chefs and other junior kitchen staff
To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements: -
Eligibility to live and work in UK
Experience in the preparation of authentic high quality South Asian dishes & Specialties
Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measure & formulation
Industrial training in a world renowned culinary/hospitality institute such as Taj, Oberoi, ITC or similar
Previous experience of at least 3 years in this role + min 3 years of prior experience in escalating job roles
Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour
In addition youshould also have the following attributes:-
Performance, achievement and results driven
Have an eye for detail
Able to work well with others
Creative energetic and passionate about delivering culinary excellence
A hardworking, fastidious and conscientious individual
Sound health and fitness
