Teaching Assistant Role

As a Specialist: Special Needs Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
• Providing one-to-one or small group support tailored to the specific needs of students.
• Helping students build confidence, develop life skills, and make progress toward their individual learning goals.
• Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour using positive strategies.
• Collaborating with a dedicated team to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.

• Pay Rate: �83 - �95 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Contract: Long-term, with the possibility of a permanent position
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
• Experience: Previous SEN experience is advantageous but not essential-your enthusiasm, adaptability, and resilience are what count most!
