An experienced Sales Engineer with a background in selling products to the M&E / Building Service sector is needed by a Midlands based company
Targeting Mechanical and Electrical contractors throughout the UK you will build strong customer relationships to promote a range of specialist manufactured products and gain specifications for current and future projects and meeting with architects and consultants to gain insights into build requirements. You will provide a key point of contact for the installers of our products and provide both pre and post sales advice. You will liaise regularly with other members of the sales team and colleagues from a range of departments, such as: Design, Development, Production, Purchasing, Quality and Senior Management.
Your key responsibilities will be
To succeed in this role you will need experience of selling to M&E Contractors or other specification based industries. You will need to have a solid technical background with either a formal qualification or a minimum of 5 years related sales experience. Good communication and presentation skills are essential as is sound judgement and good business sense concerning pricing and contract negotiation.
Good organisational and teamworking skills coupled with the ability to build relationships quickly and effectively are needed as are good analytical and problem-solving skills. You will need to be able to demonstrate resilience, tenacity, Independence, and self-reliance. Any experience of cabling, fastening or similar products would be ideal.
Salary: based on experience but circa �55-�65K + company car or allowance with an annual bonus scheme, mobile phone and laptop provided.
