Our client is seeking an experienced specification technologist to join the business on a permanent basis.What’s on Offer:Paying between £28,000 £32,000Monday – FridayCompany pensionResponsibilities:Writing and developing specifications for new and existing products that the business offers.Liaise with suppliers and customers to develop and modify product specifications ensuring that they meet with the specified legal and customer requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as npd team, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to obtain necessary information for specification development.Stay up to date with local and international food labelling regulations, including allergen and nutrition labelling.Background Experience: 2+ years of experience in a specification technologist role within a food manufacturing environment.First hand experience working with retailer portals.Strong understanding of food ingredient functionality, nutritional analysis, and allergen management.Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFor more information regarding this opportunity contact Sammi Hamilton for further discussion.
