Our client is a leading name in food manufacturing. With Multiple sites across the UK, the business is growing, and able to offerr training and growth opportunities to their employees. They are currently recruiting for a Specifications technologist near sandy. Specification experience is beneficial, but we can also consider graduates from a food or microbiology background.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Day to day you can expect a variety of different tasks
  • Primarily working to complete customer format specifications and internal specifications
  • Listing Nutritional information, food safety, intolerance and allergen information
  • Approving raw materials
  • Carrynig ou allergen risk assessments
  • Completing questionnaires related to Hala, Kosher, Vegan or Vegetarian Products
  • Set up trials within the factory

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Have experience within food specifications
  • A degree in Food Science or Microbiology
  • IT Literate
  • Willing to learn and grow with the company
  • Have full right to work without restriction or time limit
