Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist
Locations:�4 locations in London
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary - 8-5 mon-fri (Until July 2025)
Salary: �22 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Purpose of the Job:- Assess, diagnose, and support a caseload of students with speech, language, and communication needs, including SEMH.
- Provide evidence-based interventions for individuals and groups.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including teachers, parents, and staff, to develop and deliver assessment, training, and therapy programs.
- Contribute to the development of Speech and Language Therapy services at the college.
Main Responsibilities- Participate in professional development and continuous improvement.
- Work independently to provide therapy to learners with communication difficulties (post-16 students).
- Conduct assessments and develop therapy programs with SMART targets.
- Plan and deliver group and individual therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff for classroom-based interventions.
- Create resources and programs for departmental use.
- Maintain accurate case notes and prepare detailed reports for annual reviews.
- Provide training and workshops for staff and guidance for parents.
Person Specification:- Member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience working with students and families with a variety of needs.
- Experience in a school or college setting.
- Ability to design and lead intervention programs.
