Salary: �36,626 per annum
Purpose of the Job:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and devising support plans for a caseload of students, providing both individual and group interventions, and evaluating evidence-based outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and Diagnose: Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses for a caseload of students with diverse needs.
• Provide Intervention: Develop and implement intervention programmes for students with speech, language, and communication needs, as well as Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
• Evaluate Outcomes: Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust strategies based on evidence-based outcomes.
• Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teaching staff, other professionals, and parents to provide comprehensive assessment, training, and therapy programmes.
• Programme Development: Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of Speech and Language Therapy services at the college.

Requirements:

• Professional Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Speech and Language Therapy.
• Experience: Proven experience in assessing and supporting students with speech, language, and communication needs and SEMH.
• Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility: Ability to adapt and respond to the evolving needs of students and the college.
