Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities As a Sponsorship Sales Executive (known internally as Sponsorship Executive) at RICS, you'll be offered the exceptional opportunity to be at the forefront of managing and enhancing the organisation's sponsorship programs and will have a pivotal role in identifying sponsorship opportunities, building commercial revenue through remarkable negotiation and stakeholder management skills. This role would suite someone looking for a Sales Manager style position.
Utilising your customer service skills your role will be integral to the Partnerships and Events team and will require you to always be one step ahead through seeking business development leads and building a strong portfolio of long-lasting partners, all the while ensuring the best opportunities for both RICS and our partners. Collaborating closely with internal teams, especially the Events Production and Logistics teams, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skillset further whilst ensuring all partner needs are met and engagement is maximised at events. Through this role you will further cement RICS' position as a leader in the industry.
About You • To excel in this role your exceptional communication and negotiation skills will be crucial, as you'll be tasked with building a portfolio of sponsors which in turn will ensure commercial revenue, therefore your proficiency in managing a sales pipeline and sales forecasting will set you up for accomplishment.
• You'll have a passion for business development and events with the willingness to travel occasionally within the UK – a driving licence would be highly advantageous.
• You will have a commercial mindset and be competent in gathering market and customer information to understand your sponsor needs, alongside this your understanding of CRM systems with invoicing experience will ensure success in this role.
• Your ability to cultivate strong relationships and navigate a complex organisational landscape will be essential in driving successful outcomes through collaboration and innovation.
