Are you an experienced Sports Coach looking for a new challenge in your career?

Career Teachers are currently working with a school in the Enfield area who are dedicated to supporting students with Autism, ADHD and, Social, Emotional and Mental Health(SEMH). The school is passionate about providing high-quality education and are now seeking a dedicated and energetic sports coach to join their team as a Support Worker.

For this role, you will need to have experience managing challenging behaviour and working with young people with additional needs.

Key responsibilities:

• Help plan and deliver a variety of activities tailored to the individual needs of students.
• Work closely with teachers, teaching assistants and other staff members to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess pupils progress.
• Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere where all students feel valued and supported.

Requirements:

• Experience working as a sports coach ideally within an SEN/similar setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about promoting physical health and well-being for all students.
• Experience with managing challenging behaviour.
• Knowledge of range of sports and psychical activities suitable for children with Special educational needs.
