Full Time Teaching Assistant, Bristol

We are currently an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teaching Assistant with a specialism in sport based in Bristol.

\n

A primary school in Bristol are looking for a a full time teaching assistant to work on a one to one basis with a pupil with SEN. They are ideally looking for an individual with a background in sport. You will be working full time (8.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday) and will work alongside a team of experienced and dedicated teaching assistants to provide support to a pupil on a one to one basis.

A good understanding of supporting pupils with additional learning needs would be very beneficial. Experience of positively managing behaviour is also desirable. In class training will be provided for Literacy schemes and support will be given to applicants without classroom based experience. We welcome applications from all levels of experience.

• Assisting the class teacher with daily activities

• Creating a positive environment where all pupils can excel and learn creatively

• Observing and assessing individual pupil development and progress
