Staff Engineer - Event Driven Development

My client has had an extremely busy 2 years. Establishing their Development team in Belfast, working alongside their client in America. This organisation designs bespoke Software for internal customers. This role would ideally suit a strong OO Developer that can work with either Java/C#/C++/Go alongside Python. You should be able to clearly demonstrate 8 years plus experience, , building production grade solutions. Do you enjoy working with a team of highly skilled engineers as they deliver event focused software to dramatically increase the performance and execution of IOT technology ? Are you a skilled OO Developer ( Java , C++ or C# ) that wants the opportunity to also work with Go , Python and Public Cloud technologies ? Are you familiar with Containerisation and Kubernetes ? The Role In this hands-on role you will be working with bespoke Production Grade systems. You will be able to create optimised code, which can be deployed into systems that can be used globally. About The Client My client are a hugely successful Technology first business. This business unit is headed up by a Director of Engineering that can boast 30 years of commercial experience. Your Responsibilities: The Principal Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of custom solutions within this business. Ensuring that the technical design of delivered solutions matches the defined software architecture and ensuring the functional requirements in terms of usability, efficiency, reliability, availability, security and scalability are met. Ideal Candidate: Third level qualification in Computer Science or related subject Experience of Java/C#/C++ or Go Experience of Python in an Industry setting Any experience with streaming or messaging technologies would be a distinct advantage Experience and or/understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle Whats It Like to Work There ?
