Staff Officer or Deputy Principal Accountant

Your new company Hays Accountancy and Finance are recruiting and working in partnership with a large public sector organisation for the appointment of a Staff Officer Accountant or Deputy Principal Accountant offering a competitive market leading salary and public benefits. Your new role

• This role will be within the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs-Financial Planning in Lisburn.
• Provision of financial and workforce planning analysis, management accounts and income modelling.
• Staff teams' budget is 40 million. You will model it out including forecasting, increases and movement of staff.
• 2 days in the office, 3 working from home

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be Qualified by Experience or Part/Fully Qualified Chartered Accountant of one of the bodies below:

• Chartered Accountants Ireland;
• The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland;
• The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales;
• The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants;
• The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants;
• The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy
• The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland.
