Star Sliding Head CNC Machinist

ACR Recruitment & Training Ltd is seeking a skilled Star CNC Sliding Head Turner Programmer to join our established and highly skilled Engineering client based in Rugby. If you are experienced in programming, setting, and operating a STAR Sliding Head lathe, this opportunity is for you.

Key Requirements:

- CNC Turner Programmer experience with FANUC / Star Sliding Head (ideally with Doosan or Lynx).
- Ability to work from technical drawings.
- Experience managing multiple machines.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Skilled in producing mid to high-volume component parts.
- Proficient in using precision measuring equipment.
- Comfortable with meeting deadlines and maintaining tolerances.
- Committed to a safe and efficient work approach.

Shift Schedule:

Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm – 12:00 am (4-day week), 40 hours standard.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary: £20 per hour (approx. £40,000 per annum)
